Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Experience educating patients on eyecare and treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and determine patient visual needs.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Interview patients to gather ocular history and health information.
• Explain remediation options for refractive errors and diseases.
• Promote eye health and coordinate with staff to ensure best lens options.
