Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Optometry and TX license required.
• NBEO certification required for continued practice.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with patients and providers.
• Experience collaborating with ophthalmologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease and disorders.
• Prescribe and manage medications for eye conditions.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Develop relationships with referring physicians and eye care providers.
• Lead practice initiatives to improve referral coordination and patient access.
