Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, assess ocular health, and educate patients on treatment options. The role emphasizes building lasting patient relationships and promoting eyecare awareness within the practice.

The optometrist will prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed while collaborating with staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and postoperative care where applicable.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Obtain patient history and health information prior to examination.
• Advise patients on remediation options for ametropias and ocular diseases.
• Collab with staff to ensure patient education and consent.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries.
