Job summary

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice providing residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are seeking an Optometrist to join our team and deliver high-quality eye care to the elderly population.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and assist in ocular disease treatment, and prescribe lenses or eye medications as needed, with a schedule of 9:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday and part-time compensation.

Qualifications

• OD degree and active state license required.

Optometrist Responsibilities

Optometrist Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

General Information

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
• Part Time Compensation: $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).
