The MedServ Group is seeking an Optometrist to join our rapidly growing medical practice serving residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular disease, and prescribe lenses or medications.

Flexible scheduling is offered; typical hours are Mon–Fri with 9:00AM–5:00PM opportunities and part-time compensation options. Part-time compensation is $40.00–$45.00 per patient or 35%–40% of collections ($1,050–$1,250 per visit).

Optometrist Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
• Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.

Optometrist Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.

General Information

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule : Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
• Part Time Compensation : $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).
