Job summary

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice serving residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. We are seeking a talented Optometrist to join our team and provide the highest quality care to our elderly patients.

This part-time position offers 7-8 hours per day with patient visits plus paperwork, and flexible scheduling from Monday to Friday. Compensation is either $40-$45 per patient or 35%-40% of collections, approximately $1,050-$1,250 per visit, depending on volume.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnosing and assisting in treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.

Optometrist Responsibilities

Optometrist Requirements

General Information

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule : Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
