Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare is seeking a part-time Doctor’s Assistant (Optometric Technician) in Arnold, MO. You will help the doctor with preliminary testing, manage patient flow, and verify vision and medical insurances in a fast-paced clinic.

Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required, and HIPAA compliance is expected. Office duties may be assigned, with some flexibility in schedule to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
