Katzen Eye Group is seeking a patient-focused Optometric Technician to join our Bel Air, MD office. You will be responsible for initial patient work ups and assisting with various clinical duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a work-up position within an optometric practice.
• Willingness to travel to other offices occasionally to meet business demands.
• Ability to walk and stand for eight hours continuously.
• Capability to type or write legibly in a dimly-lit setting.

Responsabilités

• Initial work up of patients, gathering ocular and systemic history.
• Performing external slit-lamp examinations and assisting with eye drops.
• Scribing in electronic medical records to document patient visits.
• Assisting with ensuring cleanliness of exam rooms and stocking supplies.
