Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to assist in preparing patients for exams, using optical equipment and delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. This role supports ophthalmologists and optometrists with testing procedures and patient flow in a clinical setting.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of patient-facing work, and preferred experience in medical offices or ophthalmology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Total Patient Experience and build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Operate and follow scripts for testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Support general office duties and maintain a positive, patient-focused environment.
• Be flexible with hours including weekends and schedule changes.
