The Eye Doctors in Olathe, KS is seeking an Optometric Technician to support patient flow and assist the doctor with preliminary testing. The role requires excellent customer service, basic computer skills, and a readiness to learn within a busy optical practice.

You will verify insurance, handle front-desk tasks, and maintain a positive, HIPAA-compliant environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong communication and teamwork across the office.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow.
• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
