The Eye Doctors in Olathe, KS is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors during preliminary testing and ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include operating testing equipment (auto-lensometer, keratometer, retinal camera), verifying insurances, and communicating with patients and staff. Requirements: HS diploma, basic computer skills, strong customer service, background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Operate testing equipment such as manual and auto-lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, and visual field equipment.
• Follow scripting for testing equipment and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Interact professionally with all levels of employees and assist with general office duties as assigned.
• Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business, including potential weekends or schedule changes.
