Job summary

Eyetastic Services, LLC is seeking an Optometric Technician to join a patient-centered eye care team. Open to new entrants or those with prior experience; training is provided for motivated candidates.

You will assist during eye exams, record histories, prep rooms, educate patients, support front desk operations, and help maintain equipment and inventory. A collaborative culture and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous optometric or optical experience is a plus, but not required, as training is provided for motivated candidates
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn practice management software
• Commitment to patient care and continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in performing eye exams and diagnostic tests, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory of clinical supplies
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and contact lens usage
• Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries professionally
