Job summary

EyeCare Partners in the United States is seeking an Optometric Technician to support eye care professionals by performing initial testing and preparing patients for exams within a clinical setting. You'll operate optical equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, retinal camera, visual field) and help ensure a smooth Total Patient Experience while complying with HIPAA and clinic policies.

The role may involve travel to other locations to carry out essential duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients and provide medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and all company policies and procedures.
• Operate optical testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Assist with testing workflows, takephotos and document results as scripted.
• Maintain clean examination equipment and assist with general office duties.
