Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist clinicians and support the Total Patient Experience. You will perform initial testing using ophthalmic equipment to prepare patients for exams and coordinate care with the optometrist.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, accuracy in testing, and adherence to HIPAA while supporting a busy clinic environment in Florida. Training is provided, with a focus on quality care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with basic office software tools and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Practice urgency at all times placing value on a patient's time, as well as the doctor's time and schedule.
• Operate necessary testing equipment (lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow scripting for testing procedures and maintain clean examination equipment.
