AEG Vision in Bellevue, WA seeks an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in patient care and education. You will conduct pre‑testing, assist with diagnostic tests, and help manage appointment scheduling to ensure high‑quality patient experiences from start to finish.

The role requires familiarity with eye-care terminology, HIPAA compliance, and relevant certifications (CPO/CPOA/CPOT) for efficient records handling and patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye care.
• Experience maintaining patient records per HIPAA regulations.
• Industry certification: CPO, CPOA or CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of patient care alongside Optometrists.
• Conduct pre-testing procedures and assist with diagnostic testing.
• Manage the doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient visits.
• Document findings in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Perform other duties as requested by the practice.
