Job summary

EyeCare Partners is the nation’s leading provider of clinically integrated eye care. An Optometric Technician is a valuable asset to an optometrist as they assist in providing a world class Total Patient Experience.

This team member is able to handle a wide range of duties while using optical equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Optometrist. An Optometric Technician is expected to operate tools such as manual lensometer, auto-lensometer,

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and provide medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow scripts for testing and clean equipment.
• Perform general office duties and maintain a positive, patient-focused environment.
• Support scheduling and accommodate weekend or extended hours as needed
