Job summary

LensCrafters in Cincinnati seeks an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by supporting eye exams and patient care. You will work closely with the optometrist to ensure accurate history intake, testing support, and smooth linkage between doctor and retail functions.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Training will cover clinic procedures, privacy compliance, and lens operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year strong customer service experience.
• Leadership and communication skills are required.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional image.
• Answer calls politely and efficiently.
• Assist optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care and accuracy.
• Maintain patient records per HIPAA guidelines.
• Input patient data and insurance information into the system.
• Manage contact lens inventory and exam room supplies.
• Support retail as capacity and patient demand allows.
