AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists and patient care from pre‑testing to post‑exam tasks. The role ensures efficient scheduling and high‑quality patient experiences across the practice.

Responsibilities include pre‑testing procedures, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintaining records in EHR systems, and supporting clerical duties. A High School diploma, strong communication, and team collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively and professionally collaborate with co‑workers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist.
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing and post‑exam tasks.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and treatments.
