Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Ohio is seeking an Optometric Technician to support a world class Total Patient Experience. You will use optical equipment to perform initial testing and prepare patients for exams with an Optometrist.

Key duties include operating lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, and maintaining equipment, while delivering patient-focused care and adhering to HIPAA and clinic policies. Some weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Background check as required by state
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States
• Previous medical office and/or ophthalmic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while providing medical support
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, keratometer, retinal camera, visual field)
• Follow HIPAA and clinic policies
• Maintain and clean examination equipment including tonometer tips
• Assist with general office duties and patient flow
• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
• May include weekend hours or schedule changes as needed
