Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Missouri is seeking an Optometric Technician to support optometrists with initial testing and patient flow, ensuring a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will operate equipment and assist with testing while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

Responsibilities include handling lensometers, autorefractors, keratometers, retinal cameras, visual fields, and OCT devices, following scripting, and ensuring accurate records. Emphasis on teamwork and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers or patients
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering medical support
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT)
• Follow testing scripts and maintain equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support office duties
• Meet business hours, including weekends or schedule changes
