EyeCare Partners in Columbus, OH is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist doctors and prepare patients for exams. The role emphasizes delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience and handling initial testing with optical equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a customer/patient-facing role and a background in medical office work, with a focus on accuracy, privacy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Operate exam equipment such as lensometers, autorefractors, retinal camera and other devices as assigned.
• Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos, visual fields, etc.).
• General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager.
• Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business which may include weekends or extended schedules.
