Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the Total Patient Experience and assist optometrists with initial testing and equipment setup. You will operate various ophthalmic devices and help prepare patients for examinations in a professional clinical setting.

The role requires attention to HIPAA guidelines, strong teamwork, and dependable scheduling. Prior ophthalmic or medical office exposure is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Prior ophthalmic/medical office experience preferred.
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
• Background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Support the Total Patient Experience and assist in exams.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (manual lensometer, autorefractor, keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts and maintain equipment.
• Keep examination areas clean and well-organized.
• Work collaboratively with team to meet patient and doctor scheduling needs.
