Job summary

EyeCare Partners is hiring an Optometric Technician to support ophthalmologists and optometrists across our network, assisting with the Total Patient Experience.

You will operate manual and automated testing devices (lensometers, autorefractors, retinal cameras, visual fields) and prepare patients for exams while ensuring cleanliness and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered service, HIPAA compliance, and flexibility to assist at multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Favorable background check
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Operate manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT
• Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos, visual fields, visual activity, etc.)
• Clean all examination equipment including tonometer tip
• Interact courteously with all levels of staff at all times
• General office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager
• Create a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused work environment
• Commit to work hours that meet business needs, including weekends or extended schedules
