Pay Type: Part Time, 0 - 19 hours

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice and ensures a positive experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a human, simple, and bold manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience
