Pay Type: Part Time, 20 - 29 hours

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient. The role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor and assist in educating and recommending products and services.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
