Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $18.81 - $21.06 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. The role involves training and knowledge about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a human and confident manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, educating and recommending suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience
