Pay Details:

Type: Part Time

Range: $18.81 - $21.06 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our exam practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and our products/services, guiding patients through their initial steps in the Visionworks experience.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
