Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $14.70 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive patient journey. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide essential patient information.
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and communicate relevant information to associates for product and service recommendations.
• Support daily operations such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience and maintain exam lane readiness.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is a plus.
