Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a personable Part-Time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to greet patients, perform preliminary testing, and guide them through the eye-care journey with a simple, human, and bold approach.

You will help with records, introduce patients to the OD, and support sales staff on product recommendations while maintaining store operations and patient experience standards.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services.
• Support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals (restocking, cleaning, phones).
