Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Santa Clara, CA, seeks an Optics Product Line Manager to lead CPO/NPO initiatives, drive design wins, and collaborate with engineering, marketing and sales to capture market opportunities.

You will manage cross-functional programs, oversee NPD and product extensions, and align pricing and strategy with key accounts while staying ahead of industry trends in optical communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Electronics, or Engineering with business acumen.
• 3+ years of optical engineering, technical marketing, or product management experience.
• Knowledge of optical industry standards and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Proactively present and promote the CPO/NPO product to help the field teams understand the positioning, benefits and target customers.
• Drive the new business opportunity funnel, aligning strategy and actions to win each opportunity; develop sales and marketing tools when required.
• Maximize share at key accounts by coordinating pricing and market strategy with sales.
• Regular local customer visits, travel for training, factory visits and customer negotiations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify product gaps and define market requirements to close the total available market space.
• Lead new business plan activities including NPD, product extension, and identifying design wins with tier-one customers.
