Job summary

ASML Berlin GmbH is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive process quality and product reliability across optics manufacturing. You will analyze data, improve inspection methods, and implement sustainable quality controls in close collaboration with Production, Metrology, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience: 4 years in manufacturing quality)
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in precision or optical fabrication environments
• Experience with RCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA
• Familiarity with ISO9001/ISO14001 standards
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Lead RCA/CAPA for defects and nonconformances
• Drive yield, defect reduction, and process stability initiatives
• Develop and standardize work instructions and inspection criteria
• Support audits and ensure readiness and conformance
• Coordinate with production, metrology, and engineering to resolve issues
