Job summary

You will translate client requirements into engineering options, collaborate with sales and foundries, and apply DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma methods to root-cause yield issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, Optical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and advanced dry/wet etch engineering.
• Proven track record translating deep-tech innovations from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own wet/dry etch process across oxide, metal, polysilicon and advanced materials.
• Design, optimize, and execute advanced semiconductor and optical process flows.
• Lead complex lithography and etch modifications to optimize optical performance.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing constraints on specialized etch tools and substrates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and external foundries to meet client specs.
• Lead phase-gate reviews and drive projects from R&D to production readiness.
• Draft PFMEA and ensure ISO 9001 alignment and QA standards.
