Job summary

Moxtek in Utah seeks an R&D Engineering Technician II to execute complex semiconductor and optical workflows, run DOEs, troubleshoot equipment, and manage wet and dry chemical processes across NPIs, including wafer runs for RNSOs.

You will support engineers, operate lithography tools, perform metrology, and handle off-shift cleanroom operations with a focus on safety, process quality, and thorough shift handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with autonomous wet chemical handling, chemical hygiene, and hazardous material disposal protocols.
• Semiconductor cleanroom experience in wafer fabrication environments.
• Proficiency with cleanroom tools and AFM systems; SPC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, qualify, and handle hazardous wet chemistries responsibly.
• Operate lithography tools, alignment systems, and run advanced wet/dry etch recipes with minimal supervision.
• Manage off-shift cleanroom operations and thorough handover documentation.
• Perform advanced metrology and data generation for technical loops.
• Run DOEs for thin-film sol-gel chemistry qualification per engineering plans.
