Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Assembly Supervisor II to lead daily production activities across optics and DDN product lines, overseeing assembly technicians and operators. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement in a high-mix manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Optics, Photonics, Electronics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervision/leadership.
• Experience in optics, photonics, fiber optics, networking hardware, DDN systems, or high-tech manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily assembly, integration, and test operations for optics, photonics, fiber optic, and DDN product lines.
• Supervise production personnel ensuring adherence to standard work, quality requirements and procedures.
• Execute production plans to meet customer delivery commitments while optimizing labor and equipment utilization.
• Monitor production metrics including throughput, quality, yield, and schedule attainment.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, ESD, cleanroom, and handling requirements for sensitive components and assemblies.
