Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Rochester, NY is seeking an Assembly Supervisor II for optics and DDN manufacturing. You will lead daily assembly, integration, and test operations, supervising technicians to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role supports high-mix, technology-driven manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement. The position will relocate from Webster to Rochester upon completion.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate daily assembly, integration, and test operations for optics, photonics, fiber optic, and DDN product lines.
• Supervise production personnel, ensuring adherence to standard work instructions, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
• Execute production plans and schedules to meet customer delivery commitments while optimizing labor and equipment utilization.
• Monitor production performance metrics, including throughput, quality, yield, and schedule attainment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, cleanroom, and handling requirements for sensitive optical components and electronic assemblies.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
• Support optical alignment, precision assembly, fiber optic integration, and final system testing activities.
