Job summary

A medical optometric office in Redlands is seeking a motivated professional to join their team. Responsibilities include customer service, optical sales, completing insurance billing, and handling pretests. This full-time position offers opportunities for growth. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service required.
• Ability to pretest including auto refraction and pressure checks.
• Skills in handling insurance billing and chart management.

Responsibilities

• Perform cross-trained duties including opening and closing the office.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Fit and dispense eyeglasses and train on contact lenses.

Job description

Medical optometric office in professional environment.

Duties to include ability to be cross trained. Open and closing, answer phones, schedule appointments, computer use, chart management, input insurance information, authorize insurance, customer service, handling of cash.

Ability to pretest including auto refraction, visual fields, OCT, retinal camera, pressure checks.

Fit and dispensing of eyeglasses, contact lens training, optical sales, lensometer.

Insurance billing and reconcile COB.
