Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years optical dispensing experience.
• ABO - American Board of Opticianry Certification – State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts frame and lens position to fit the client for optimal vision.
• Measures bridge size, eye size, temple length and other optical parameters.
• Prepares work orders for optical lab and verifies finished glasses.
• Recommends lenses, coatings and frames to suit client needs.
• Updates patient chart with pertinent information.
