Job summary

FYidoctors of California, Inc. in San Rafael is seeking an experienced Optician to join our team. This full-time position works 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, and focuses on eyewear retail, repairs, and follow-up patient care.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in an optical setting, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit. You will educate clients, help with frame selection, perform repairs, and contribute to store sales while delivering outstanding patient

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in an optical environment.
• Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care.
• Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous retail experience an asset.

• Assisting with selection of frames to suit client’s aesthetic and performance needs.
• Performing repairs and adjustments to patients’ eyewear.
