Total earning potential: $20–26/hr+. Our Optician roles start with a guaranteed $17/hr base, plus a commission and bonus structure built to be earned, not chased — most opticians add another $3–9/hour on top of base as they grow into the role.

What You'll Do

Your role as an Optician is to help patients find the best options in frames and lenses for their lifestyle, and make professional recommendations so they achieve their best vision. Day to day, that looks like:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance benefits and calculating patient responsibility
• Selecting and ordering eyewear for patients
• Making small repairs and adjustments to eyeglasses
• Delivering a best-in-business patient experience from start to finish
• Supporting your team by communicating effectively and working toward shared goals
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
