Vision Associates, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optical Associate to deliver premier eyewear experiences. You will fit eyewear, take precise measurements, and help patients select the right products while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
• Strong customer service: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Strong basic math skills and sales skills.
• Embraces new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and accurately places prescription in lenses.
• Lead in optical acumen; provide a voice for peers.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards and patient needs.
• Ask open questions to understand patient needs and priorities.
• Assist peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Proactively identify issues and develop long-term solutions with management.
• Multitask and manage time with competing priorities.
• Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
• Commit to delivery dates and seek patient referrals.
• Take ownership to achieve individual and team goals.
• Present, celebrate, and educate at dispense.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensary and protect assets.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff for high-quality patient care.
• Report safety opportunities and practice safe work habits.
• Demonstrate a can-do spirit and drive for continual learning.
• Follow policies on discounts, promotions, and inventory.
• Work weekends and evenings as needed by location.
• Maintain attendance and time-keeping; follow company policies.
• Foster positive relationships with the practice; raise concerns promptly.
• Maintain professional dress and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
