Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Associate Optometrist to deliver high‑quality eye care within a TeamVision affiliated private practice. You will perform comprehensive exams, uphold Standards of Care, and partner with the store team to drive patient experience and outcomes.

Responsibilities include explaining each step of the eye exam, maintaining state licensure and CE requirements, mentoring staff, and contributing to a positive office culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure executional excellence and results in partnership with the managing doctor and store team.
• Maintain Standard of Care as agreed by private practice owner.
• Explain each step of the eye exam to patients.
• Maintain state licensure and Continuing Education requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Contribute to a positive culture within the organization.
• Encourage team member decision making at the level closest to the patient.
