Job summary

You will operate lensometry equipment, educate patients on lenses and coatings, measure key facial dimensions, and ensure frames are presented accurately and stocked for patients.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance forms.

• HIPAA compliance with PHI disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering excellent medical support.
• Identify patient needs and guide purchases to exceed expectations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames matching style and facial measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames to fit patient needs.
• Accurately measure bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, vertex distance, PD, and pantoscopic tilt.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and maintain frame inventory.
• Keep job aids and policies up to date and follow procedures.
