Job summary

Grene Vision Group in Wichita, KS is seeking an Optician who will dispense and fit glasses and contacts according to prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. This role connects patient needs to our products and requires strong communication skills.

You will assist with frame selection, operate lensometry equipment, and provide education on lenses and coatings to fit patient needs. Professional HIPAA adherence is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year in a customer interactive position or equivalent experience.
• HIPAA compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience to build relationships while supporting medical care.
• Identify patient needs and upsell frames and lenses to meet expectations.
• Help patients choose frames based on style, color, and measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frame options to fit patient needs.
• Take precise measurements: bridge size, PD, eye size, lens heights.
