Clarkson Eyecare is seeking an Eyewear Associate (Optical Technician) in Chesterfield, MO. The role focuses on dispensing glasses and contacts, assisting patients with frame choices, and supporting clinicians with eye care needs.

Responsibilities include operating lensometry equipment, measuring facial metrics, and ensuring accurate orders in the E360 system. A strong emphasis is placed on patient service and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance forms.
• Ability to work with safety rules and procedure manuals.
• HIPAA compliance will be followed by all associates.
• Background check clearance as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to deliver the Total Patient Experience and build relationships.
• Assist patients in selecting frames by style and color, aligning with facial measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate patients on lenses, coatings, and frames suitable for their needs.
• Accurately collect measurements (bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, PD, pantoscopic tilt).
• Dispense glasses and contacts orders in E360 and manage frame inventory.
