Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience while supporting patients' medical needs. The role dispenses and fits glasses and contacts based on prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, connecting patient needs to available goods and services.

The position involves assisting with frame selection, lens recommendations, and precise measurements, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace total patient experience to build relationships and provide medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, facial features, and prescriptions.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and assist with repairs and adjustments.
