Job summary

IDEX Health & Science LLC., a Unit of IDEX Corporation, in West Henrietta, NY, is hiring a Systems Technician I for our optical systems production team. You will clean, inspect, assemble optical components and sub-assemblies, and ensure quality and on-time delivery in a GMP/ISO environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and strong manual dexterity. Overtime, standing or sitting for long periods, and ITAR compliance may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in optics/photonics preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication and team-work abilities.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean & inspect optical components and mounts.
• Assemble and bond lens elements within mounts and barrels.
• Verify sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Maintain assembly tools and area per GMP/ISO.
• Complete and charge time to work orders and paperwork.
• Follow clean room protocols.
