Job summary

IDEX Health & Science LLC., a Unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking an ATS Technician I in West Henrietta, NY. The role focuses on assisting the Systems production team, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and high productivity in a busy optics center.

You will work with engineers and leaders to meet daily goals and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years in optics or manufacturing, with CNC familiarity and strong communication.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in optics/photonics or manufacturing.
• Moderate computer skills and ability to read work instructions.
• Strong technical aptitude and good work ethic; team oriented.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Must work scheduled shifts and overtime as production requires.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines (CNC preferred) and meet daily production goals.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership to align on goals and plans.
• Identify and address safety or quality issues with the appropriate teams.
• Tag non-conforming material for inspection by QA.
• Train on and use in-house testing/tracking software.
• Learn and rotate across multiple production lines.
