Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervision preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams.
• Solid customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated problem-solving across varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure the same from all associates.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies for compliance.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting.
• Ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are implemented and communicated to staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates (and Receptionists where applicable).
• Assist the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining talent.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary by location to meet licensing or credential requirements.
