Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience as Optical Associate or higher diploma
• Proven track record of sales growth in retail or customer service
• Experience in retail or customer service environment
• Ability to recruit, train and develop staff
• Ability to deliver decisive solutions to issues/opportunities to grow business
• Strong communication to meet customer and doctor relationships
• Proven store merchandising and attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to change

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture
• Attain plan sales goals and store growth
• Increase customer transactions and supervise staff
• Manage payroll cost and gross margin
• Coach and motivate staff and ensure training timelines
• Oversee sales floor and NECE skills
• Discuss accountability with staff for performance
• Partner with Store Manager on business direction
• Develop professional relationships with doctors
• Ensure quality exams in line with customer satisfaction (NPS)
• Monitor customer retention and repeat visits
• Ensure coverage and hours are appropriate
• Implement retail selling initiatives to grow exams and conversions
• Recruit, train, and retain associates with strong customer service
• Ensure proper merchandising and brand standards are followed
