Job summary

Eyeglass World in Michigan is seeking an Optical Specialist to deliver confident, personalized service at the heart of the in-store experience. You’ll assist customers with eyewear selection, ensure proper fitting, and coordinate finish and pickup while upholding brand standards.

With 1+ year experience in optical, retail, or customer service, you’ll thrive on teamwork, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset. Sundays off and a supportive National Vision environment enhance growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave confident in their eyewear and overall experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam support to aid Optometrists.
• Prepare orders for pickup and ensure polished, brand-aligned handoffs.
